As i said the website send 's us the email containg the information of any XYZ company's product.So when we open the email we get to know that company's product and its other feautures which may influential any reader to buy that product.On this belief the companies send us the emails.Now we earn the money time when we open the mail, it is not that we earn only after buying that product.

I think answer to that is very simple.It consumes the same time as reading an ordinary mail.
